We just completed a 1000 mile road trip with our 2001 Mazda MPV. No problems. Get home, fill it up with gas, clean it, park it - go to start it the next day and, wham, it starts and then stalls right away. Each time I have tried to start it, it does this. First time it happened, white smoke came out of the muffler for a second. If I hit the accelerator, no difference. It dies. No idle - no nothing.
Any suggestions?

Seems to me you got some bad gas.
See if there is a fuel pressure test port on the fuel and try to get a sample. If it has water in it the gas will float on water.
Let me know
