1984 Mazda GLC 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 110000 miles
My son was warming the engine up after a month of being parked for the winter. He forgot it was running and the car ran out of gas The ignition was left on and it fried the battery and alternator. I replaced the alternator, battery, fuel filters dist. cap plugs/wires. I noticed that the cooling fan dosen't come on any more. I checked the fan motor and it works fine, I cleaned the conections too. The main problem is that the car starts just fine runs for 5 minutes then dies.....5 minutes later it starts just fine and the process is repeated HELP!!!!!!
