CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE CAUSE. IT HAPPENED BEFORE IN THE RECENT PAST, BUT THE MANUAL SAID MAKE SURE THE GAS TANK CAP IS ON PROPERLY. WHICH I CHECKED AND THE LIGHT WENT OFF

Ensure the gas cap is closed tightly with at least 3 clicks.

Apart from the gas cap, there are many sensors that can cause theproblem. Get a free scan done at Autozone to retrieve the trouble code and lety me know the exact trouble code so we can proceed with further diagnostics.
