Engine Mechanical problem
1992 Mazda b2200 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 125000 miles

I have a dead 2.2L ,fuel-injected (California truck) , 85 hp engine. Would like to swap up to more hp, but keep it simple. What will slide into place w/o a lot of headaches? Have heard 86-91 Mazda 929 with turbo. What about the 626, MX6 as well? Someone said Ford Probe (yrs?) might work.
