1995 Mazda 929

I have a 95 mazda 929 and when it rains or gets wet out the car will start but when putting on the gas the car barely moves. Although when it is dry out and sunny the car runs great. We have sent it to mechanics but they could not pinpoint the problem. What could be the cause of this?

Thank you for the donation.

Since the problem is affected by water, I would suggest checking the crank position sensor. Check if the sensor is dirty or contaminated.
