2009 Mazda 3 Car wont start

My car is not starting. When I put the key in a turn it all the electrical parts turn on, the radio, clock, all the check engine lights, my head lights can even turn on but the car will not start. I can hear it trying to start but it just wont do it. I did not leave any lights on or anything. Could it still be the battery even though everything else works.
