2005 Mazda 3 Nosie when driving slow, bearing?

2005 Mazda 3 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 70000 miles
Hi, when I drive my car straight or turn the back passenger tire makes a rythmic sound like a drum. The speed of the sound goes along with the speed of the car. (ie it is slow when I drive slow and speeds up) until I go highway speed and it stops. It sounds like maybe a bearing is loose. I took off the tire to see if anything was rubbing the rim but its all clear.
