LOSS OF POWER

2003 Ford Ranger • 97,400 miles

Truck has not wanted to crank a few times in past couple months. Will not click or even attempt to turn over, try it again and cranks right up. Did it again tonight and after driving 20 feet it just died. Is not like engine is stalliing it is just like it is loosing all power but battery is fine and all lights light up etc. Switch does have a short in it probably because sometimes it will beep even after key is out of ingnition but just giggle it and it quits. Any ideas?

TAKE THE BATTERY OUT, HAVE IT "TOTALLY" TESTED AT A POPULAR AUTO PARTS STORE......USUALLY THIS IS A FREE SERVICE

A VOLTMETER TEST ALONE, AIN'T GONNA CUT IT

IF ALL IS GOOD,

"READ AND DO" THE STUFF IN "MY ANSWER" IN THIS LINK
