Loosing water/coolent and Timing chain

Hello,

My Opel Astra Club 1.4 petrol is loosing water/coolent. I have been shown the location of the water loss. It is a large black (round but jaged) coming from a large circular up ward pointing grey pipe which is loacted forward from and to the left of the water/coolent thank. What is the issue here? How big a job is it? Also my timing chain has started to cause the car to sound like a diesel engine? Again how big a job is this to fix/replace?

That pipe u are on about needs replacing as it sounds to be old replace pipe and that should resolve problem. Timing chain just working overtime as engine gets to hot but will be ok when replace cooler feed pipe.
