2012 Lincoln Town Car Repair Question

89 lincoln town car 220000
The gas gage doesn't read correctly. It's digital and it comes on but it will say it's empty when its not or say its full when its not.

i'm not trying to be rude but this question might do better in the ford fourm. your problem could be the sending unit in the gas tank sticking.
