I am trying to replace the regulators in both rear windows. The attacchment point of the window hangs over the top of the regulator thus keeping me from removing the regulator. I'm not sure what or how to move the window enough to get out the regulator. Any help would be great.

I have removed all the rivets. All that is left are the two bolts at the top of the regulator. It is loose but won't go out past the bottom of the glass.

O.K.
On the Town car you do not drill out rivets. You drill three 1/2 in. Holes to remove mounting bolts then remove assembly from drum housing. Guess you can rivet it back. The lower right rivet is your reference point Go up 4 5/16 in. Then over 1 in. First hole.
Go up 3 17/64 in. Over 3 1/8 in. Second hole.
Go up 1 25/64 in. Over 1 11/16 in. Third hole.
Remove bolts, remove REG. From mount then remove through hole. Remove from drum and raise window by hand and secure. Repeat steps in rev order to install.
