1993 Lincoln TC park solenoid
My old Town Car will not start in park. You have to put the key in "on" position and shift the gear lever to neutral then start. The gear shift lever will not move out of the 'park' position. There must be some solenoid actuator that has failed. where is it located, and how do you get to it?

It is the safety neutral switch, but I am not sure where it is located on your car. If no one else tells you from this site, call up your local dealer, and ask him were the safety neutral switch is located on your model. I know in some cars, it is on the transmission.
