1997 Lincoln Mark VIII Ineed help, it's happening again

Hi my Mark V111 started riding rough then ch. Eng. Lite came on, I found out that the 9th cylinder was filled w/oil and the coil was burnt and had to be replaced, those people did not know how to find out why it happened, I can't afford to take it to dealer. A friend of my does some car work but will need direction for this problem, it's starting to ride rough again and I'm sure a or the 9th cylinder is filling w/oil again. Please help me. Thank you so much, and thanks for helping my g-friend w/her truck last week!

A little confused by question engine in car is 4.6L V8 so no 9th cylinder. Would you post code in P0xxx format.
