Overdrive and it's lack thereof...
Transmission problem
1989 Lincoln Mark VII V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 130992 miles
My 89's tranny works and shifts fine in Drive but doesn't work in Overdrive.
Is there a sensor for overdrive? If not, does the whole tranny have to be rebuilt just for Overdrive or can just that gear be overhauled?
