1985 Lincoln Mark VII airsuspension
Suspension problem
1985 Lincoln Mark VII V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 15000 miles
the rear air suspension pumps up way past its usual ride spot and won't go back down. Is there something to bleed or what? I have the trunk switch in the off position and have opened the air valve on the pump assembly, but it remains pumped up way too high. Is there a bleeder somewhere else or?

Did somebody jack the car up without shutting the switch off?
