2000 lincoln ls v-6
My car dies out only in the idle position i put my code reader on it and it read po171,system to lean bank 1.i have no clue what to look for.need help thanks.

You need to check fuel Presure... the port is on the drivers side of the motor under the plastic cover. if the pressures low it may need a fuel filter.... if there is none it may be a bad fuse/relay/pump.
