2000 Lincoln LS V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i got new balljoints for my lincoln ls they are only lowers and I cant get the old ones out is there any trick or anything I should know about? It seems like I have to take the wheel barring housing out to get to them. Can I please know the right way to do this as soon as possible

The lower ball joint is serviced with the lower control arm as an assembly.
