1999 Lincoln Continental Radiator cooling fans

My cooling fans run at high speed all the time. According to my manual I have a (VCRM). I have a fan motor going out and would like to fix fan speed at the same time. Temp. Gauge works fine. Runs cool. I believe a heat senor must send information to the VCRM but not sure. Fans start a second or two after car starts. Any hints. Thanks

Try replacing the coolant temperatur sensor and see what happens.

NO offense to Pro Master Rasmataz but if the temp. Gauge works fine and the car runs cool what good would it do to change the coolant temp. Sensor.

The CTS tells the computer when and when not to engage the fan running at high could mean the high speed relay is sticking
