2000 Lexus RX 300 battery issues
Electrical problem
2000 Lexus RX 300 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 105000 miles
We haven't been driving my wife's lexus for a while. And when we did we only took it on short rides. The battery drained and I had the AAA people jump it for me. He told me I needed to drive it once a week for at least 30 mins. I did that but then I needed to jump it again. And decided maybe I need to drive it twice a week.
I jumped it this morning. Drove 35-40 mins. Went to the gym. When I came out the car wouldn't start so I jumped it again...
Is the battery needing to be replaced for is it just not charged up enough? I'm charging up my charger right now, anticipating that I'll probably have to jump it again to go home.

There's two things might be causing this an alternator that's not producing an output or a short circuit that's draining the battery overnite.

the AAA guy tested the electrical system and said the alternator was good.
could it still be not charged enough?
or maybe we need a new battery?
