I drive a 2004 Lexus LS w/15,000 miles on it. A light came on stating "immediate service required." When I phoned the dealer they said it was a reminder to have a comprehensive checkup performed. Is this really necessary or can any shop do it? If so, what should be the charge and who besides Lexus can do it? They want $495 which I think is too much.
