I recently purchased a 1998 LS400 in near perfect condition except that the rearview and side mirrors are dark like they would be if a car behind us had their bright lights on. The auto mode on the rearview mirror does not have any effect of this eventhough the lamp does light. I was wondering if this is a commor problem and if iy could be a sensor.
