MY CAR WONT GO INTO PARK UNLESS I PRESS THE SHIFTER RELEASE BUTTON DOWN. THE CAR WOULD BE IN D (DRIVE) BUT THE N (NEUTRAL) WOULD STILL BE HILIGHTED. ALSO WHEN I PUT IN R (REVERSE) IT WOULD STILL BE ON D AND N. RECENTLY MY ENGINE LIGHT JUST CAME ON.

Its a simple a malfuncation there
its an newer lexus so its electronic but its gna be sum pins on your lever. JUST SIMPLY REPLACE them.
Here is the CATCH. PAIN in da ass 2 get it.U would have 2 lift it out. And go under there 2 see the prob. We did thise with 1999 750li v-12. SAME EXACT PROBLEM///we thougt it was the trans going out.
