1996 Lexus LS 400 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 131000 miles
Hi,
After parking car outside for 8 hours, it takes 5 miles or 10 min. driving to start cooling off interior with AC set to max. cooling (interior temperature was ~ 120 deg F). I only drive 7 miles from work or 15 to 20 min and interior does not cool down enough to feel comfortable.
Rebuilt compressor is 1 year old. Recently I vacuumed and recharged the system, checked high and low pressure - no leaks, cabin filter - clean, fans working. Vent temperature went down to 60 deg F with ouside temperature ~ 90 deg F.
What is wrong with AC system?
Thanks, Adam
