Hello. I am trying to replace the plastic cover that fits over the shifter on the interior with a new one. There is a small peice that comes off and then pushes down. Do you need a special tool to remove this peice? I do not want to break the brackets because this is an old car. Do I have to take the carpet out and push from above. Any help would be appraited. Thanks
