My alarm was accidentally set off by my nine year old. I was told it triggered my automatic shut off switch and now my car will not start. It behaves as though it is out of gas and the tank is over half full of gas. Please tell me what I can do:-(

Unlock trunk using key in 2 sec alarm will reset. Is alarm sounding? Is light on dash blinking? How exactly did the 9 yr set alarm?
