1994 Lexus LS 400 engine cranks but will not start
Engine Performance problem

car ran out of gas as i was driving homewhen i put gas in the car would crank but not start

Was it possible that gas was not the problem but rather some other things gave way?
You would need to check if gas is getting to the engine or sparks are missing. It could also be mechanical fault.
Click the " First Things To Check " link at bottom of post to get an idea what to look for. Let me know what you find.
