1991 Lexus LS 400
Engine Mechanical problem
1991 Lexus LS 400 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 70000 miles
after a smog check the lexus engine failed as though
the battery went dead, after we charged the battery the engine went dead again by end of day. could it an electrical wire or fuse that got shaken during the smog check and just an adjustment is needed? I have also been told its probably the alternator. The latter is more expensive so I dont like that answer I hope its more minor than that. Thanks for any advice
I hope i gave enough info for a diagnosis.

What you need to do here is have the alternator load tested to find out if its doing its job reconditioning the battery
