2001 Lexus IS 300
hi! i was wondering how to put back my antenna base on top of my lexus is300? i accidently hit the top of my garage door because it was open half way. know i bought a new antenna and the bae with it. so i need to know how to take the old out and put the new one in. is there a easy way doing this? i need some help how do this. thank you.

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Wait 90 seconds before doing any further work while the airbag system de-energizes.
Remove the antenna nut.
Remove the left rear side cover.
Disconnect the motor antenna connector and the antenna cord.
Remove the nut and the motor antenna assembly.
To install:
Place antenna motor into proper installed position and install the antenna nut.
Connect the motor antenna connector and the antenna cord.
Install the nut.
Install the left rear side cover.
Connect the negative battery cable.
