Automatic headlights low beam
Electrical problem
1998 Lexus GS 400 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 68000 miles
Hello, My 1998 Lexus GS400 has developed a headlight problem. Upon starting the car with the automatic headlights engaged, the low beam lights go on and the within seconds shut off.
First the drivers side and then a second later the passenger side. The low beams will not work if I put them on manually with the directional mounted siwtch. The fog lights and the and the low light grill lights work perfectly. The high beams also work perfectly. My guess is that it is some sort of relay. Or could it possiby be a fuse for a relay?
Thank you for your help.
Michael

Were you able to consult a local mechanic regarding this one buddy? They might have better suggestions on your headlights. And for sure they will be able to give you some solutions to this problem.
