2007 Lexus GS 300 SPARK PLUGS

2007 Lexus GS 300 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 92000 miles
I have a 2007 GS 450h. In the manual it says to replace spark plugs at 60K miles. In small print at the bottom of the page it says it is required under the emission control waranty. Ive been told that those spark plugs are long life and dont need to be changed until 120K miles. So, do these spark plugs really need to be changed at 60K because thats when they wear out, or is it only because of the emission control waranty, and they are ok up to 120k miles. The spark plug is the Denso FK20HBR11. Thanks for your help.
