2006 Lexus GS 300 Resetting the tire pressure warning syste

2006 Lexus GS 300 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 25500 miles
I had to have one of the tyre pressure sensors replaced. Now I cant get rid of the "LOW TIRE" warning signals. I have followed handbook directions and pressed the reset switch for 3 secs, and got "PRESSURE INITIAL" on the screen , but after about 5 secs it reverts to LOW TIRE again. What am I doing wrong?
