2009 Lexus ES 350 Cam Shaft
Engine Mechanical problem
2009 Lexus ES 350 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 21,000 miles
My car is only 1 1/2 years old. This problem happened all of a sudden - no warning signs. I am told it is a problem with the cam shaft and that parts have to be obtained from Japan. It has already been 2 weeks and I am told it may be at least the middle of June (3 more weeks). I have had several people tell me that the car may never be the same and that I should negotiate with the dealer for a new car, or at least an extended warranty. Can you give me any advice?
