Brakes problem
2007 Lexus ES 350 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 36000 miles

Hi,

My brakes have been squeaking for quite sometime and my mechanic tells me that I have to get those changed (both rear and front). Is it normal?
I read on this forum that there is a TSIB (BR002-07) out for this and called the dealer. The dealer said that I have to take the car for an inspection, pay $50 and they will determine what caused the wear. If its not my aggressive driving (?) then they will fix it under TSIB. Can they do that? How can I escalate this issue?
