Oil leak

Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Lexus ES 300 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 115000 miles

A year ago I took my vehicle to local dealership for maintance repair, and replace of complete head gasket kit because of oil leak. I recently found oil leaking again so I took it in for service and dealership recommended replacing all gaskets again, including camshaft seals, and main engine gasket at rear of motor. Parts are cheap but labor is to expensive for me. I am considering replacing the gasket myself with the help of a repair manuel that I will obtain from the net. Why are gaskets leaking out and does the fact that I have after market 20" rims a reason for it? If so is it neccessary for stronger gasket than the OEM recommended?
