2002 Land Rover Freelander rover does not turn to start

2002 Land Rover Freelander 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 99000 miles
I purchased this vehicle used..drove it home and parked it. Next morning when I went to start it, everything cameon, but the engine would not turn. battery appears to be well charged, etc.

check the wiring to and the starter motor .. it could also be the immoboliser
