2002 Land Rover Freelander oil specification
Engine Performance problem
2002 Land Rover Freelander 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 50,000 miles
My owner`s manual`s oil specifications state only synthetic oil,5W50,0W40,5W40 should be used.
Would putting 5W30 oil in my Freelander cause the engine to seize.

you don't really want to go down in oil grade ..(thinner)
