my friend is trying to borrow $700 dollars to have her timing set. Could it really cost that much or is she bieng taken advantage of by the shop. She recently had some work done on the heads because coolant got into the base oil.

Hi there,
If this is the V6 engine you are looking at over 5 hrs labour plus parts so the $700 is about correct depending on labour costs.
