Trying to replace clutch - have all bolts off, drive shafts removed and appears ready to remove. Can spread trans from engine about 2" all around using 4 pry bars held by three people. When you let pry bars loose the trans case will return back against engine.

Reason for replacing clutch is that it slips in 3rd and 4th gears; otherwise car runs fine.

All parts/bolts needed to loosen trans done. Did not realize had to release throw out bearing fork shaft nut and remove bar connected to clutch slave cylinder.

As soon as shaft nut removed and bar removed, the pressure released on throw out bearing and trans seperated easily. Thanks for reply. Pete
