2002 Kia Spectra coolant sensor replacement

My check engine light came on. I took it to auto zone for diagnosis. They said I needed an engine coolant replacement sensor. How difficult is this to do and how expensive? Is this something I could possibly do on my own?

Service and Repair
Engine coolant temperature sensor

Removal
NOTE: Engine coolant temperature sensor is located near thermostat.

1.Disconnect engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

2.Remove engine coolant temperature sensor.

Installation
1.Install a new washer and engine coolant temperature sensor onto engine. Tightening Torque: 18 - 22 lb-ft (25 - 29 N.m, 2.5 - 2.9 kg-m)
2.Connect engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

3.Start engine and check for coolant leakage.
