2000 Kia Sophia 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 118000 miles
i have a 2000 kia sephia with over 118,000 miles, about a week ago my check engine light came on in which a mechanic did a dianosic on it and told me it was my mass air flow sensor,and how to clean it which i did,it ran really great for about three days,then coming home on the freeway it started to hesitate like it was running out of gas, but then kick in and ran ok, then when i would come to a stop it would start to want to shut off...would the mass air flow do that or could there be another problem

is the CEL back on ? is it throwing the same code .. could be the MAF needs replacing .. but i would check if you are getting the same code first ?
