Brakes problem
2005 Kia Sedona 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 64000 miles

Yesterday we changed the front brakes and the rotors on our van. Now suddenly there is a squealing when I hit the gas. If I hit the brakes the noise stops. Also if I slightly turn the wheel when it is making the noise it stops. Any idea why as soon as we change the brakes this noise would start.

Hello A10560

Welcome to 2carpros.

What you will need to do is to recheck the job done.
Recheck the whole installation of the brake.
There may be a loose inner shim, or brake pad retainer. Tighten caliper-mounting bolts to 18-26 ft. lbs. (24-35 Nm).
Loose inner shim is most like .
