Kia Rio Noise Problem
Noises problem
2001 Kia Rio 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 82000 miles
car blew timing belt &broke ex valves on cyl. 2&4 replaced head , belt &tensioner .eng. has aknock in cyl 1 area .pulled no.1 piston found no problem with rod,bearing or piston .ran eng. with no belts &noise is still there what could it be

DId you plastigauge the rod and main bearing? Did you check the wrist pin? Was there any damage to the valves in this cylender?
