When I shift into drive, the transmission acts like it's in neutral. but when I manually shift the gears from 1st, then to 2nd, and then to drive, the car drives normally but starts to slip when it hits low rpms.

A mechanic told me it was a shifting solenoid but another told me that it was the band giving trouble.
