This morning I started my car without any problems, drove out for about 20 minutes then turned it off. When I came back 10 minutes later the engine wouldn't crank, while turning the key the lights came on as usual, but when I got to the final stage of turning the key I just got a single click noise (which is normal for my car) and then the lights and clock just dimmed until I turned my key back. After trying every few minutes for about half an hour it finally turned over without a problem and didn't give me any hassle for the rest of the drive. I just tried it again, it turned over but while it was cranking it was also making an audible clicking noise, not a mechnical sound from the engine, just very similar to that single click I mentioned earlier while turning the engine over.

Could this be a sign that the ignition is dying on me?
