1998 Other Kia Models 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 13 miles

I bought a second hand car from the deal with in 2 months its left hand side back wheel giving me some sort of noise when i turn the vehicle . when i when to mechanic he said the axile been bent earlier by somebody . and ask me it will cose almose1200 dollars
do you it is safe to drive like this what shall i do pls let me knw
