2008 Kia Optima 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 20000* miles
My 2008 Kia Optima makes a knocking noise when I accelerate and left off the gas, once I get up to speed. It doesn't always happen. But I started noticing it, when I got stuck in the snow and began to rev the engine. I was about 3000 miles over an oil change, but I hear synthetic oil is good for about 5000 miles. If thats the case I was only about 1,000 miles over. I noticed when I got an oil change the noise quited down a bit. Im not sure if the noise is coming from my engine. I noticed my front tires were balding on the inside. Could that be the origin of the noise?
