2004 Kia Optima 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 102000 miles
There is a pin in the crank shaft gear, what i have read indicates that this should be at twelve o'clock as should the cam shaft gears (dohc) is this correct? the cam gears have markings on them. or is ther an off set to them?

Go to the belt routing diagrams site on this page and it will identify where the marks should be.
