my vehicle will run smoothly up to 3000 rpm, after that it cuts in and out. when it first happened i pulled over, restarted the car. held down on the gas and it would rev up then cut and drop down, rev and cut....then the check engine light came on and ran fine for 4 days when i was driving this morning it ran fine as long as i didnt exceede the 3000 rpms when i did...i could feel the power loss.
