Electrical problem
2002 Kia Magentis 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Can you please explain how to remove the alternator
on a Kia Magentis 2002? I am able to remove the bolts
but I can't release the tension on the belt, there is a separate belt running of the crankshaft, not the timing belt. Can you post an exploded view as well?

Thanks

Is that the pulley with 4 small bolts around it, it looks like it could be a cover? Also does the second wire have a nut on it, it is on the opposite side and not easy to get to from the top?

Is this arm supposed to move freely when the
adjusting screw is loosened? Mine doesn't budge.
Which way loosens the belt up or down?
