2004 Kia Amanti Door lock solenoid

2004 Kia Amanti 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 101000 miles
Please help. My car has a solenoid that wont move when I lock or unlock the car. It is a safety problem because it wont allow the alarm to arm. I noticed that it feels sticky when I push the knob manually and the others move much smoother. I am going to try to use some good old wd-40 and see if that resolves it

It sounds like the lock solenoid is bad and needs replaced. I don't believe WD40 will fix it.
